His lifelong ambition has been to build something of his own: an organization he can grow from the ground up, lead with purpose, and develop into a key player in the IT industry.
As an owner and builder, Joerie is hands-on in every aspect of the business — from shaping the company’s strategic direction to developing the teams and people that make it run. He believes that a strong organization starts with strong people, and he invests in creating a culture where perfection is the standard and where appreciation from customers, partners, and colleagues alike is of the highest importance.

Roland de Haas is co-founder of Dutch IT Supplier. With over twenty years of experience in the IT sector, he has served a diverse range of customers — from resellers and end users from maritime, industrial, and commercial markets. In 2017, he joined forces with Joerie in the maritime industry, and in 2021 became co-owner of Dutch IT Supplier, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a clear vision for building a future-proof organization.
Within Dutch IT Supplier, Roland is primarily responsible for operations. His focus is straightforward: ensuring the sales team can do their job without obstacles, and that both existing and new customers are served in the best way possible. With a structured, open, and direct communication style, he keeps the organization running smoothly while maintaining strong relationships across the board.
Roland is a true all-rounder — combining sales, partner management, and operational leadership with ease. His greatest strength lies in his ability to connect with people: understanding what customers need, building lasting partnerships, and striking the right balance between personal relationships and business objectives.
Outside of work, Roland is the father of two daughters and an sports enthusiast. Kickboxing, running, bootcamp, and Hyrox keep him sharp and focused.
